Deli Roll

Ingredients:
Pastry sheet (Find in your grocer's freezer, or make your own)
Assorted sliced cold cuts (turkey breast, turkey and/or beef pastrami, salami, bologna, corned beef, et cetera - pick your three favorite, six to eight slices of each)
3 tbsp mayonnaise
3 tbsp brown mustard

Preheat oven to 450o.

Roll out pastry sheet to a rough rectangle, about 1/8-inch thick. Mix mayonnaise and mustard well and spread over pastry sheet, leaving a rim of about half an inch all the way around.

Arrange slices of cold cuts in horizontal strips across the pastry sheet. (Tip: try arranging them in order of color, darkest at bottom to lightest at top.)

Carefully lift one long edge of the pastry sheet and roll it up horizontally with the cold cuts on the inside. If there is any of the mustard-mayonnaise mixture left, rub it over the outer crust of the roll.

Put the roll onto a greased baking sheet, curved slightly if necessary to fit, and bake until brown and puffed.

Slice and serve hot or cold, as part of a main course or as an appetizer.
