Chocolate Meese
Recipe by Rita Fuchs, from the Mataamim cookbook.

Ingredients:
6 oz. bittersweet chocolate chips
2 Tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 extra-large eggs, separated
1/4 cup sugar

Note: This recipe is much simpler to make if you have both a microwave and a hand blender with a whisk attachment.

Melt chocolate with water over low heat. Remove and beat with a spoon until smooth. When cool, but not hardened, add vanilla.

Add the egg yolks to the chocolate, one at a time, mixing well after each one.

In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form, then add the sugar and beat until stiff peaks form. Add the chocolate and mix well; the resultant mixture will be liquidy.

Pour into serving bowl or into individual cups and refrigerate. Serves 5-6.
