When we pulled out of Anaheim, to rest and settle down
We picked a place that seemed to us a peaceful little town
We wanted a vacation there, away from all the fuss,
But found too late that Duckburg isn't meant for ducks like us.
CHORUS:
And we're banned from Duckburg every one
Banned from Duckburg just as soon as our game is done
We spent a nice vacation here, for just nine days or ten,
But Duckburg doesn't want us back again.
We went downtown to see the mall and make a little noise
And Duke got stuck with babysitting Webby and the boys
So the triplets now speak courtly and pick any lock they're near,
And the Brotherhood has got a brand-new female volunteer.
CHORUS
We met this guy named Gearloose, an inventor by his trade
And Tanya rambled off with him, discussing things they'd made
They wound up in his workshop, and for days she didn't call
But we found a giant Omnitool on the roof of City Hall.
CHORUS
Now later we found Grin (who'd wandered off without farewell)
Discussing mysticism with one Magica de Spell
But they didn't stick to theory, and we all got several shocks
When we found between the two they'd wiped out seven city blocks.
CHORUS
[Interlude, ttto: "Captain Signy Malory" -- can also be sung to same tune as the rest of the verses]
Wildwing, Dive, and Malory cruised the downtown mall,
Got challenged by the local team, and agreed to play them all
They made it single combat just to add a little spice,
And proved again that Malory's a demon on the ice.
CHORUS
The Beagle Boys broke out of jail again while we were there
They came to rob the nearest mall, but no one seemed to care
Half our team was busy there, and invited them to play;
The Beagles took one look at us, then turned and ran away.
Chorus
Our team's the best there ever was, that we can say with pride
So what if when we play we leave a trail a mile wide?
Well, we're off to find a better town -- that shouldn't be too hard;
I'm sure that we'll be welcomed when we get to Saint Canard!
CHORUS:
And we're banned from Duckburg every one
Banned from Duckburg just as soon as our song is done
We spent a nice vacation here, for just nine days or ten
But Duckburg doesn't want us back again.
(Wonder why?)
